Tab FAQ
Is Praise-Worship.Net's tab archives violating copyright laws?
As long as you use the archives for personal use, it is legal. Since all songs are the tabber's own interpretations, Praise-Worship.Net is not responsible for any of the tabs. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
Do you accept tabs which has been taken from songs, magazines, or any other published material?
We will NOT accept any tabs that have been taken from songs, magazines, or any other published material. Tabbing a work by listening to the song is okay as long as you credit the musicians involved.
What are your guidelines for submitting tabs?
Please go to our SUBMIT TABS page for detailed instructions.
What program do you use to view the tabs?
You can use any word processor or text editor (ie. Notepad, Wordpad, or MS Word) to view them.
When I try to open a .crd file, why does CardFile load up?
CardFile uses the .crd extension also. You can either go into the Control Panel and change the .crd extension to Notepad, or open the .crd file from within notepad or any other word processor.
