P-W.net will be shutting down after 7 long years
Music tabs no longer available
As of Tuesday, June 5, 2007, I am sad to announce that Praise-Worship.net will no longer be offering our music tabs because of legal action from several music companies. In order to comply with their requests, I have decided to shut down all of the archives. As many of you may have noticed, the site has not been updated at all over the past four years because I just do not have the time to maintain anything with my busy work and personal life.
This bit of news is unfortunate not only for the users of this site but also for the future of P-W.net. The site will still be up and operational but the future is very bleak now.
Any comments or questions, feel free to contact me.
BANNER UPDATE
Pop-Ups Gone!
Many thanks goes out to everyone who took the time to tell me about the numerous pop-ups that appeared all over the site.
With growing and continued support for the site's resources, the site will now be POP-UP FREE (yeah!). Unfortunately, some of you may run into the rare pop-up that still may appear but overall, the site is 99.9% pop-up free now.
Any comments or questions, feel free to contact me.
New Article!
November 5 : DJ Gary McElyea
Intro and CD Reviews
The articles are back! Gary McElyea, a radio DJ in Springfield, MO combines his work and experience from his listening audience to bring us his first article.
His work in radio as a DJ at KADI, one of the top christian stations in the U.S., allows him to keep up with the mainstream artists and also hear feedback from his listeners. In his debut article, Gary reviews two CDs.

WORSHIP OR WHAT? Monthly Series
November 13 : Rev. Paul Woodburn
FEATURE: Skirmishes
After devoting his last two articles on the events of September 11, Paul returns to his regular article series.
We've all been there... Every pastor, every worship leader, every person who has ever had to stand before an audience or a congregation. Nothing spectacular has happened...no lightening bolts...no fire from God...no dramatic miracles... Your worship package went "OK". There were no major flubs but it wasn't CD quality either. Just another "hum-drum-same-ol'-same-ol'"

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PASTOR & WORSHIP LEADER
October 29 : Kris Grooms
In my past articles I've discussed some issues revolving around checking our motives, and keeping our motives right. Now I would like to begin focusing in on some more technical details. My first couple of articles will center in on the relationship between the pastor and the worship leader.

BLURRED LINES
October 11 : Phillip Carter
After a long layoff, Phillip Carter is back with P-W.net! We now have THREE regular columnists and we are still looking for MORE.
I'm a blues guitarist. That's where my roots lie and that's where they shall forever be planted. I enjoy country music, I enjoy gospel music, and everyone knows I enjoy rock music. Though I may be inspired by rock, country, and gospel, blues is where my baby lives (to use a popular blues expression). Why aren't there more blues styled musician's in Contemporary Christian music?
